Welcome
The Ashtead Tennis Players Club was formed in 1981 when a group of local tennis enthusiasts took a lease on the four courts in the recreation ground from Mole Valley District Council. Since then the club has flourished and grown to its present size of just under 150 members. The clubhouse was built in 1991, and more recently floodlights were installed, and all four courts resurfaced, helped by generous grants from The Sports Council Lottery Fund, and Mole Valley District Council. You won't find better courts locally - or anywhere else!
Who can join?
New members of every age and ability are welcome, and those who can keep the ball going in a rally will be invited to join in the club sessions.
Leagues and Competitions
There is a programme of competitions within the club, including round robin, knockout, and championship events.
We also compete in the Dorking and Leatherhead League during the summer, and the Surrey Winter League.
